And yes, I&#8217;ve been in more  then one, and yes, they all ended badly.<!--more--><\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Long Distance<\/strong><br \/>\n<small><small>by Michael Morris<\/small><\/small><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\">When frustration fell from your eyes,<br \/>\nI was not there.<br \/>\nWhen the cry for help came from your lips,<br \/>\nI was not there.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\">My love is but text on a screen<br \/>\nMy heart is but bits of data<br \/>\nStreamed over the hard metal lines<br \/>\nFrom this place that I call home.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\">While many say such love can exist,<br \/>\nThey have never embraced the reality.<br \/>\nThe lack of warmth, the lack of touch,<br \/>\nWords on a screen, they can only do so much<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\">So when one asks<br \/>\nIf my feelings are a lie?<br \/>\nI say they are both true and false<br \/>\nAs bits on a wire, running through time<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Some odd thoughts put into free verse on my thoughts on Long Distance relationships.
